Frequently Asked Questions
Dancers should arrive with a labeled water bottle, tap shoes, and ballet shoes. Dancers should be wearing convertible tights and have their hair neatly pulled back and out of the face. For safety and focus, please do not wear any accessories (including jewelry or watches).
To encourage independence and focus, parents will send their dancers into the classroom on their own. Our teachers are there to support and guide each child throughout class.
No, tuition is non-refundable.
Tuition is due in full upon registration. There is one installment for the 6-week summer program.
No, there is no registration fee for summer classes.
There are two options for Summer Camp enrollment; half days and full days. Half day hours are 9am-12pm and full day hours are 9am-4pm. Camp drop off begins at 8:45am. Before care from 8am is available for an additional fee.
Camp is open to children ages 3-12.
Children should wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Children may bring dance shoes if they have them, but it is not required.
During Princess Camp weeks, children may choose to dress up like princesses. A list of the princesses we will be focusing on will be provided in advance.
We group children by age to the best of our availability.
Groups are based on age, however we will do our best to honor friend requests when possible. Friend requests must be submitted a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the start of camp via email, admin@centerstagemaryland.com.
Please bring the following and label all items;
-Water bottle
-Dance shoes (optional)
-Extra set of clothes for spills
-Nut free lunch (Full day campers)
Yes, campers will receive one morning and one afternoon snack provided by Center Stage. The snack list will be sent out one week prior to camp. If your child would prefer to bring their own snack in place of the provided snack they may do so.
Yes, Full day students will need to bring a NUT FREE lunch from home. We recommend packing a lunch box with an ice pack. We do have limited refrigerator space available. We also have a microwave available that camp counselors can use to heat lunches by request.
The preschoolers do not take naps. However, we do have 30 minutes of downtime after lunch each day with movie time and quiet activities including coloring and games.
Yes, all children attending camp must be potty trained.
Enrollment for Summer Camp is by the week only.

1:00-1:45pm Dance Class 3
1:45-2:30pm Crafts
2:30-2:45pm Snack
2:45-4:00pm Tumbling obstacle course & dance games
3:45-4:00pm Full day student dismissal
Full tuition is due at time of registration for Summer Camps. No discounts apply. Summer tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Drop-off takes place between 8:45-9:00am.
Pick-up takes place between 11:45am-12:00pm for half day campers and between 3:45-4:00pm for full day campers.
Before care is available from 8:00-9:00am for an additional fee.
Late pick-ups may result in dismissal from the program.
