Bria Comer

​

Bria Comer is a passionate dance educator who has been teaching dance since 2004 (first tap, but expanding to a little of everything!). She has her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from James Madison University, she has danced with companies including Light Switch Dance Theatre, Dance Antonini, and Equinox Dance Company (for which she was also artistic director), and she continues to train and take classes, bringing a diverse and knowledgeable vision to her classroom. 

 

In addition to teaching dance, Bria holds her PTA license from the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. She started working in pediatric physical therapy in 2019. In early 2025, Bria started a new path as a birth and postpartum doula, allowing her to combine her deep knowledge of movement and the body to help women through the incredible perinatal experience. 

 

 When she isn't working, Bria loves to read, exercise, and hang out with her husband and their son, daughter, and dogs Slinky and Pablo!
