
Jessica Shaffer
Jessica Shaffer started in Theatre at the age of 5 and has starred in or been a part of over 50 productions. As a child, she began her journey in children’s theatre in Illinois as well as participated in an improvisation competitive team and vocal classes. She was also actively involved in community theatre and school productions. Jessica auditioned and was accepted by her talent agency to attend IMTA (International Model and Talent Association) where she received numerous awards and multiple offers for New York talent representation but, at that time, decided to further her training and education. After graduating high school she was accepted into The School For Film and Television, now known as The New York Conservatory For Dramatic Arts, where she had a film and theatre focus. After completion she attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, majoring in Communications and theatre. Jessica has lived in Maryland for the past 10 years, with 8 of those years in Mt. Airy. She is married and has two children, a son and daughter. Jessica’s experience as a choreographer, stage manager, acting coach and director has brought a veteran direction to the community. She is thrilled to be apart of Center Stage to share her passion and knowledge with her students.
