Victor Adebusola


Vic Adebusola is a seasoned hip-hop instructor and arts manager passionate about community engagement, dance education, and artistic excellence. With over a decade of experience, Vic has significantly shaped the arts landscape in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. In 2023, Vic earned his M.A. in Arts Management from George Mason University, receiving the "Erin Isabelle Edwards Gaffney Award" for his commitment to the transformative power of the arts. Vic is renowned as a choreographer, having showcased his work on local, national, and international stages, earning multiple awards for his innovative contributions to the dance community. From 2012 to 2014, Vic served as the Artistic Director for Culture Shock D.C., shaping the company's vision and fostering a vibrant dance community. Currently, as the Programming and Engagement Manager at the Center for the Arts, George Mason University, Vic curates immersive cultural experiences and manages the Young Alumni Commissioning Project, supporting emerging talent and expanding the Center's impact. Additionally, Vic is the Commercial Dance Director at Metropolitan School of the Arts, inspiring students to explore their creativity and hone their skills in hip-hop and contemporary dance. Vic actively contributes to the arts community by serving on grant panels and as an adjunct faculty member with George Mason University’s School of Dance, where he empowers aspiring dancers to embrace diversity and self-expression.
