Brooke Burghardt

 

Brooke Burghardt graduated from Washington College in May 2017 with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Management and a minor in Economics and Dance. Brooke started dancing at the age of three and continued her training in the TWIGS Program at the Baltimore School for the Arts in Baltimore City. She performed in the Nutcracker at the Hippodrome Theater with the Pittsburgh Ballet in 2009 and was part of the Mercy High School Dance Troupe. At Washington College, Brooke was a member of the Dance Club, Sho’ Troupe and Dance Minor Program. She was a member of the executive board of Dance Club and started the Dance Honors Society, Delta Eta Pi, at Washington College. Brooke continued to represent the Dance Department during a summer performance at the National Music Festival in Chestertown, Maryland where she performed with a live orchestra. Brooke received honors for her senior thesis, "Nourish with Company,” which combined her business major and dance minor. Upon graduation, she presented her senior thesis at the National Dance Honors Society at Norfolk State University.

Brooke is excited to be teaching at Center Stage and share her passion for dance with others!
